FIREBALLS 1, BLUE ANGELS 0
Well, the dry spell has ended! The Fireballs finally snapped a tough stretch with one of their best all-around games this season in a 1-0 win over the Blue Angels. The game was physical and hard-fought throughout, and at halftime the score was 0-0. The key play was a brilliant save in goal by Brian, who deflected a point-blank laser shot, which was easily the biggest scare of the game. Late in the second half, Tyler fired a beautiful crossing pass into the middle and found Khartik all alone for the game's only score. From that point, the defense clamped down and contained several more close calls before the game's final whistle. This win, is just the right kind of momentum the team is looking to build on for the final stretch run leading up to the playoffs.
